The Scandal Season 1

Lady Cho masks her unease when Lord Yoo takes a young concubine for an heir. Later, she writes to her cousin Cho Won with an idea.

Lady Cho and Cho Won, the era's most notorious seducer, begin a dangerous game. They set their sights on a virtuous woman who may not bend so easily.

Cho Won approaches Hui-yeon directly, stirring her grief and testing her faith. He then provokes Lady Cho with a move that could give him the upper hand.

Cho Won once hid his longing for Lady Cho with nights spent with courtesans, yet the void remained. As he pursues Hui-yeon, his facade begins to fade.

Lady Cho exploits So-ok's secret feelings for another man. Meanwhile, complicated emotions overwhelm Cho Won as his relationship with Hui-yeon deepens.

Lady Cho warns Cho Won that the bet will stain his honor and family name — but he vows to see their dangerous game through as feelings grow.

Cho Won and Hui-yeon grow closer as they enjoy a brief respite together away from the public eye — until a royal order threatens their peace.

As the scheme spirals out of control, Lady Cho faces a reckoning with Cho Won and Hui-yeon. How far will she go to see her plan through to the end?
