The Twin Oaths

In ancient times, a Tai Sui born from the nourishment of heaven and earth split into two halves: one good and one evil. If the evil half devours the other, it will become the ruler of heaven and earth, plunging the three realms into a hellish torment. The only way to resolve this crisis is to combine the powers of its opposing half, a divine artifact, and the essence of the four ancient sacred beasts. Additionally, the involvement of a person with unique bloodline traits is essential. Ling Xiyan runs a tavern in Yin City, waiting for this destined individual. Feng Yixuan’s entire family was targeted by the state preceptor Tu Xiao because their bloodline posed a threat to him. Tu Xiao wiped out Feng’s family, but Feng Yixuan managed to escape to Yin City, where he encountered Ling Xiyan. However, Tu Xiao pursued him relentlessly, bringing the two halves of Tai Sui face-to-face once again. Using the excuse that female power grows stronger at midnight, Ling Xiyan managed to protect Feng Yixuan. After probing him, she revealed the backstory to him. Feng Yixuan agreed to join her in defeating Tu Xiao and safeguarding the lives of many. Ling Xiyan entrusted the divine artifact to Feng Yixuan, and the artifact recognized him as its master. At the same time, Tu Xiao sensed the arrival of his nemesis and grew even more murderous, spreading rumors that brought endless trouble to Ling Xiyan. The next step was to find the essence of the four sacred beasts and fuse it into Ling Xiyan’s body. Finally, using Ling Xiyan’s power, the essence would be integrated into the artifact to completely destroy Tu Xiao. The journey was fraught with intrigue, peril, harm, and attempts to drive a wedge between them. Through these trials, Ling Xiyan and Feng Yixuan came to understand their feelings for each other.
