Plot
In 2025, when global artistic taste was in sharp decline, the male protagonist, a cleaner, remained unaffected and retained a unique artistic sensibility. During a Spring Festival Gala rehearsal, he caught the eye of a female director after questioning a popular singer’s performance and was invited to perform on stage. He turned down a large sum of money, impressed the chief director with an original and simple program, and earned a direct spot in the Gala. Despite jealousy and sabotage from peers, he overcame everything calmly. In the end, his sincere performance moved the whole nation on the Spring Festival Gala stage. Encouraged by the female director, he faced his confusion between imitation and creation, completing his transformation from a copycat into a true artist.
