The Counterattack of Housewife on the Mistress

Jiang Wanqing and Jin Mo had been married for six years, and their life should have been happy. However, Jin Mo’s attitude changed drastically after a business trip abroad—he became cold and distant. As it turned out, Jin Mo had been in an accident overseas that damaged his spinal cord, leaving him at risk of paralysis. Unwilling to be a burden to his family, he deliberately kept Jiang Wanqing at arm’s length, hoping she would let go of their feelings and agree to a divorce. Jiang Wanqing, though, mistakenly believed Jin Mo had rekindled his romance with his first love, Shen Xia. Determined to get a divorce, she set out to collect evidence of his ""infidelity."" Jin Mo went along with her misunderstanding, thinking this would make her give up on him completely. In the end, Jiang Wanqing filed for divorce and initiated a lawsuit, demanding that Jin Mo leave the marriage with nothing. At this point, Jin Mo learned that his accident had been caused by his colleague Gu Chengfeng—who was also pursuing Jiang Wanqing. Desperate with anxiety, Jin Mo, with Shen Xia’s help, began searching for evidence against Gu Chengfeng. Meanwhile, Jiang Wanqing grew closer to Gu Chengfeng and eventually decided to get engaged to him. In a critical moment, Jin Mo confronted Gu Chengfeng to lay bare the truth, only to be attacked again by Gu—this time suffering further spinal cord damage that left him paralyzed. When Jiang Wanqing found out the whole truth, she rejected Gu Chengfeng and turned him over to the authorities to face legal punishment. Finally, Jiang Wanqing found Jin Mo, and the two reunited at the place where they first met. But the time they had lost had become an irreparable regret.
