Plot
Lucian was once the first heir of an imperial noble house, until his own father, Herman, drained his true-god blood and cast him out. For three years, Lucian endured inside Tartarus Prison. By devouring the divine sparks of fallen gods, he became the Abyss Warden, the man who suppresses werewolves, vampires, and old gods. When the man who saved his life dies and Lucian's fiancée is forced by her family to marry Vincent, a noble playboy, Lucian returns to Twilight City. Everyone thinks he is still the useless outcast noble. But at the Royal Court Banquet, Cedric, the Empire's God of War, kneels before him and reveals Lucian's true identity as the Abyss Warden. A divine war is about to begin. Lucian merges with the power of the divine spark, kills Herman, the Black Dragon King, and rescues his fiancée.
