Plot
A car accident three years ago took Weston's younger brother Noah, and also took his courage to continue in professional racing. After retiring, Weston returns to his small Texas town and silently runs the family ranch, sealing himself off like an island. Noah's college best friend, Ezra, shows up at the ranch gate under the pretext of "helping sort out Noah's belongings," and Weston is forced to accommodate his late brother's closest friend for a few weeks. Late one night in the barn, as Weston drinks alone in despair, Ezra touches his scar for the first time, and the long-suppressed attraction surges violently in Weston's heart.
