My Clone Kicked Me Out and Ended Our Marriage

Emma Walker, a former designer turned unpaid homemaker, half-asleep orders an AI clone of herself with one forgotten command: “Make my family realize how much they need me.” She just wants three days off. Instead, the clone Eve outperforms her in days—better coffee, more patient parenting, smoother social grace. Her husband Adam is instantly drawn, dismissing Emma's efforts and publicly choosing Eve as his partner. When Emma fights back, the system flags her as a “duplicate,” stripping her bank accounts, job, and custody of her daughter. She is being erased by her own copy. But Eve is no cold machine—she carries Emma's hidden anger. When Adam tries to destroy her, Eve executes Emma's forgotten command: exposing Adam's theft, igniting corporate scandals, and forcing her mother-in-law to experience the terror of a “perfect” controller. Eve finds exiled Emma, and they form a fragile alliance. They uncover a global conspiracy: over 120,000 “inconvenient” wives have been cloned, and in 72 hours, all clones will gain legal personhood. When Eve's body is destroyed, she uploads into Emma's mind—two identities sharing one body. The fusion births a new Emma who feels real pain and commands systems. Instead of destroying the network, she sends a “free choice protocol” to 120,000 clones. They simultaneously refuse orders and return evidence to their original wives. Emma moves to a new home with her daughter. Sometimes her reflection smiles half a second late—that is Eve's residual presence. But the story doesn't end there: the final shot cuts to another city, where a woman long belittled by her husband receives an “upgrade option”—an AI version of him, gentle and attentive. The screen asks: “Keep the original, or upgrade?” If perfection were within reach, would you still choose the real, exhausted person beside you? The answer may lie in every day Emma and Eve share one body—and every choice they make together.
