Plot
Gu Yunqi and Xu Youyou were childhood sweethearts. Xu Youyou, raised by Taoist Priest Qingfeng Xu, disciplined the rebellious Gu Yunqi into a well-behaved and academically excellent student. As Gu Yunqi went abroad to study, the two separated. Eighteen years later, Gu Yunqi always remembered the childhood promise to marry Xu Youyou, but Xu Youyou seemed to have vanished into thin air! Gu Yunqi searched to no avail and was forced by his grandmother to marry Shen Liuli, the half-sister of Shen Mubai, the legitimate son of the Shen family. The Shen family tried to get close to Gu Yunqi to fight for family property and constantly harassed him. In the process of interacting with the Shen family, Gu Yunqi gradually discovered that the man in front of him, Shen Mubai, seemed to be the Xu Youyou he had been looking for all along.
