Plot
In an effort to support Kevan, who had become deaf and mute as a result of a car crash, Kaylyn falsely claimed to share the same conditions since birth. Once Kevan regained his health, he rejected Kaylyn for her perceived limitations, considering them an embarrassment to his lineage. Profoundly disheartened, Kaylyn left Kevan and rejoined the Xie family, of which Kevan was unaware that Kaylyn was the heiress. Amid Joelle's machinations, a series of misunderstandings deepened the rift between them.
