Plot
Jiang Yan, with his sharp tongue and cold demeanor, scares off all his blind dates. His mother, worried about this, happens to meet Ruan Xingmian, who is being forced into an arranged marriage by her aunt. Jiang Yan’s mother saves her and offers a monthly salary of 100,000 yuan: marry her son, talk to him for over 100 sentences a day, and be responsible for scolding others for him. Money-motivated, Ruan Xingmian agrees. Jiang Yan initially refuses, but with his mother’s assistance, he compromises and they register their marriage. When her aunt comes to cause trouble again, Jiang Yan flashes their marriage certificate to resolve the situation, and begins to develop feelings for Ruan Xingmian. However, Ruan Xingmian wants a divorce due to internal feuds within the wealthy family. When she visits a gynecologist and interacts with Jiang Yan’s doctor friend, Jiang Yan misunderstands and thinks she is planning to remarry, triggering a fit of jealousy.
