Contract Obsession

Lila, an architecture student drowning in debt, is rescued by Elara, a powerful corporate leader, on a rainy night. The fifty-thousand-dollar debt binds them under a one-year master-servant contract. Elara harbors a decade-long secret obsession: she risked her life to save Lila in an orphanage fire years ago. To her, the gentle, untainted Lila is the only light in her endless darkness. She keeps Lila close via the contract, hiding her tender heart and deep trauma beneath domineering possession. While Lila resents suffocating restrictions, she gradually sees the lonely, broken side of Elara as they live together. Workplace sabotage, extortion from greedy relatives, and repeated schemes from rival conglomerates force them to stand side by side. The truth of the fire, family power struggles, and buried life secrets surface one after another. The bondage of the contract fades into mutual salvation. Breaking free from power, slander and past wounds, they abandon the cold agreement and choose equal, lifelong companionship, becoming each other’s only home.
