Plot
Retired senior engineer Chen Jianguo just fell into loneliness last year due to the passing of his wife. He earnestly hopes that Chen Weiwei, who has been striving in the big city and achieved success in her career, and his granddaughter Yue Le can often come back home. However, single mother Chen Weiwei is overwhelmed with her career and has to raise her daughter Yue Le alone, leaving her with no time to spare and unable to take care of her father. As a result, there is always a generation gap in their conversations with her father. Chen Weiguo, who was frustrated in family relationships, in order to seek warmth, successively experienced being introduced to a life partner by an old colleague, meeting Xiao Zhou who sold health supplements, and bought a lot of health supplements from him. He also had an argument with his daughter. So, as the New Year approached, Chen Weiguo staged a ridiculous funeral for himself in order to get his daughter to visit him more often.
