Plot
Modern engineer Gu Chen traveled back in time to become the prime minister of the Great Qian Dynasty to save his daughter, who was in a vegetative state. Over the next five years, he used iron-fisted measures to help Shen Qingjun ascend the throne as emperor. However, Shen Qingjun, obsessed with the original body Gu Linchuan, conspired with the national master to expel Gu Chen's soul. Gu Linchuan, actually the son of a treacherous official, colluded with the Northern Barbarians and forced loyal officials to death after regaining power, leading to internal strife and external threats in the Great Qian Dynasty. By the time Shen Qingjun realized his mistake, the dynasty was on the verge of collapse. Just as he was about to commit suicide in despair, Gu Chen traveled back again to obtain points to save his daughter. He regained control of the court, used modern weapons and medicine to resist foreign enemies and quell the plague, and finally led the Great Qian Dynasty to turn the tide of the crisis with the empress's repentance and intention to abdicate.
