Plot
In the early 1980s, Lin Weidan, owner of Qinghe Grain Store, foresaw the risk of heavy rains and advised villagers to sell off their rice before the rain came. However, grain trader Xu Meilan stirred up trouble, and the villagers falsely accused him of profiting from price gaps. After the heavy rain, large amounts of rice turned damp, sprouted and went bad, bringing heavy losses to farmers. The villagers finally realized their mistake and sought help from Lin Weidan. In the end, the villagers abided by grain trade rules. Supported by professionalism and integrity, Lin Weidan established himself in the industry and uncovered the raw survival rules of the grain business.
